It's birthday time again, and today we're celebrating the 44th birthday of big-time American funnyman, Will Ferrell. Now, I've had a bit of a love/hate relationship with Ferrell. When he first hit it big, I tended to distance myself from his films because he seemed like the trendy guy to follow at the time. However, after seeing his performance in 2004's Anchorman, there really wasn't any going back. Despite this, I still think that Ferrell is a bit of an acquired taste. You're either going to love his brand of humor or hate it, and there's times where I'm not very fond of it (i.e., I wasn't a fan of 2008's Step Brothers). Still, he's done enough good work to warrant a list of my five favorite Ferrell films, so you can understand the reason for this post. But without any further delay, let's get on with the celebration. Once again, happy birthday Will Ferrell!
