This Movie Guy: Favorites: ACTRESSES

We all have certain actors and actresses that appeal to us a little more than the rest. These people draw us towards movies just a little bit more quickly than some of their peers. This post lists my thirty favorite actresses. Why are they my favorites, you ask? Well, some of them are downright gorgeous (a huge draw factor in Hollywood). Others hold acting skills far superior than the people around them. But in most cases, it's a little mix of both. I'm not always one for eye candy when it comes to enjoying an actress' work. They have to exhibit a certain skill in their performances that makes me want to keep coming back to watch. I think this list gives a broad range in terms of different types of actresses, and their reputation proceeds them. Between those thirty women, they hold a total of eighty Academy Award nominations and have nabbed fourteen wins. Like I said - their reputation proceeds them.
